DESIGN FOR A CLOCK-CASE.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1,Gnonon B. Owen, of Winsted, in the county ofLitehfield, and State of Connecticut, here invented anewand improved Design for a Olock- Case; and I do hereby declare that the following is 2t full, ciear, and exact description thereof, which will enuhle others skilled in the ant to make and use the some, reference being had to the oooompnnyii 1g .hnwin gs, forming liitl'l] of this specification.
The figure is at front view of o. clock-ease showing my improved design.
My invention hats for its object to furnish a new and ornmnentnl design for n. olook-oztsc; and
It consists in the design for n. clock-case, herein shown and described.
A is the upper or main part of the case, which is made octagonal in form, and the edges of which are rounded ed, as shown.
B is the frame of the door which gives access to the face of the clock.
The frame B is made circular in form, is headed, as shown, and receives the glass that covers the fitee of the clock.
G is the lower part of' the (,hH'ii-(iitSl, which is made in the form of half a doeugon, having its two upper sides prolonged, as shown in the figure.
The edges of the said port G are rounded ed, as shown.
D is the door through which access is had to the pendulum, and which is hinged, at its upper edge, to the lower edge of the part A.
The edges of the door 1) are made to conform in shape with the form of the port G, [LS shown in the drawings.
The door has :1. window, 15, formed in it, to allow the pendulum to he seen through it, mid which is surrounded with beading, as shown.
