Be it known that I, GEORGE M. BULL, of New Baltimore, in the county of-Greene, and State of New York, invented a new and improved. Design for a Tobacco-Box; and I do hereby declare that the following is a clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same,

My invention has for its object to furnish an improved design for a tobacco-box, which shall better adapt ox for the use vfor which it is intended, and which shall at the same time give it a more tasteful appearance;

it consists in the design for :t tobacco-box, formed as hereinafter more fully shown and described.

A represents a. box illustrating my improved design. The bottom and top of the box A are each struck up an oval form, as shown in the figure; the edges or parts of said bottom and top that form the edges of the being rounded oit, so as to present no sharp corners oxangles to wear the pockets of him who carries it.

said top and bottom are hinged to each other in the usual manner, and the edges of the said top shut down ily over the edges of the said bottom of the box, so as to give to the box, when closed, the appearance of g n solid flattened oval body, having its edges grooved, as shown in the drawing.

Haxing thus described my invention, I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent- Au improved design for a tobacco-box, formed substantially as herein shown and described.
