DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR BUTTON-HOOKS 0R SIMILAR ARTICLES.

Be it known thatI, ALBERT G. SAART, a citizen of the United States,residing at Attleboro, in the county of Bristol and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Handle of a Button-Hook or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure l is a side view of the handle, showing my new design. The handle is shown connected to a button-hook, the blade of a paper-cutter being indicated in broken lines. Fig. 2 is a transverse section of the same.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of the raised scrolls a, terminating in an apex between curved bands, inclosing the spheroidal bosses b, above which the raised bands curve in opposite directions under and then surround the panel 0, terminating in the scrolled head (I, ornamented with a shell ornament. In the panel c is the raised representation of a cupid. The ornamentations are in bold relief, as is indicated by the shading on Fig. 1 and the transverse section of Fig. 2.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design for a handle of a button-hook or similar article, as herein shown and described.
