Be it known that we, EUSTACE CREES and CHARLES S. COURT, citizens of the United States, residing at Providence, in the State of Rhode Island, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Handle of a ,Zutton-Hook or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

The drawing sides of the handle of a button-hook provided with our new and original design, the same design being formed upon both sides of the handle.

The leading or material features of our design consist in the circular head a, from which are extended the opposite foliated scrolls b b, which are turned inwardly at their terminal ends cc and also at their intermediate points 11 d, the ornament e, the branching foliated shows a view of one of the scroll f, the reversely-foliated scrolls g g and the panel h, the reversely-foliated scrolls it, the reversely-foliated scrolls jj and the panel 70, the floral ornament Z, the reversely-foliated scrolls m w m 72, the reversely-foliated scrolls 0 0 and p p, the panel q, and the terminal ornament i.

It is apparent that this design for the bandles of button-hooks is adapted for the handles of similar articles.

Having no described on 1' new design, what we claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for the handle of a button-hook or similar article, as herein shown and described.
