Application filed January 21, 1901. Serial No. 44,228. Term of patent '7 years.
To aZZ whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES E. COOHRANE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Pontiac, county of ()aklancL'State of Michigan, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Wagon-Bodies; and I declare the following to he a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification.
Figure l is a perspective View of the wagonl)ody, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section, and Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the body.
Similar letters refer to similar parts.
As shown in the drawings, the side of the body consists of two sunken panels A B with rounded ends and located end to end.
As shown in the drawings, the rectangular side of the wagon-box body is formed with two rectangular equal sunken panels A B with rounded ends and located end to end and having an intermediate raised portion between them, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, and having, the cross-section shown in Fig. The panels A B are formed by a raised work O around the sunken portions D D.
The leading material feature in my design for a wagon-body consists in the two equal sunken rounded end panels symmetrically arranged with reference to the rectangular shape of the side of the wagon-body, the two panels being surrounded and separated by raised Work 0 0.
Having thus described myinvention, what I desire to claim is- The design for a wagon -,body as herein shown and described.
