Beit known thatI, DAVIDJ. Sour-hyacinzen 0f the United States of America, residing at South Bend, in the county of St. Joseph and State of Indiana, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Fabrics, of which the following is a specification, referenee being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part hereof.

This design relates to the ornamentation of cotton, silk, woolen, paper, celluloid, and other fabrics.

In the drawing I have shown a plan View of my design.

The leading feature of the design is the representation of stems running along or upon the surface of the fabric in iwo parallel adjacent paths and holly-leaves lying upon and springing from the stems and interspersed with holly-berries. The stems A appear in twogronps running parallel to each other and followinp pronounced waves or compound curves, the stems in each group being twisted or given a sinuous shape along the said coniponnd curved paths. Holly-leaves l5 appear lying upon and rising from the stems, and herries C appear on the stems in the in tervuls between the leaves.

What I claim is The design for a fabric described and shown.
