1 1 T152- I I I A I 1 WI TT ESEEE v lax/ming- JarqasJacmhsaq- UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
JAMES JAOOBSEN AND PETER JAOOBSEN, OF MENASHA, WISCONSIN.
DESIGN FOR A BUR-GRINDING-GRINDER FRAME.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,971, dated January 22, 1901. Application filed December 26, 1900. Serial No. 41,176. Term of patent 7 years- To (LZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that we, JAMES JAOOBSEN and PETER J ACOBSEN, citizens of the United States, residing at Menasha, in the county of Winnebago and State of Wisconsin, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Bur-Grinding-Grinder Frame, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure l is a side elevation showing our new design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation of the same, and Fig. 3 is a View of the same looking downward upon it.
As shown in the drawings, the leading features of our design consist of a bellshaped pillar 1, having a narrow base-flange 2, arms 3 3', mounted upon the upper end of said pillar, extending outward upon opposite sides thereof and carrying journal-boxes e 4', one upon the extremity of each arm, in which an emery-grinder shaft may be journaled, the journal-box et having a half-circle extension 5 projecting from one of its ears, which has a thickness in excess of its companion ear, and said extension having the emery-Wheel-guardsupporting-rod-holding aperture 6. The pillar l is circular in horizontal cross-section and is curved inward from its base to near its upper end. Projecting from the pillar, between its base and upper end and under the arm 3', is a work-supporting-table carrying bracketarm 7, whose upper surface is at right angles with the vertical axis of the pillar.
This design is applicable to frames of emery-grinders for grinding the metallic burs of feed-grinders which comprise in their combination or operation an emery-wheel mounted for revolution above a table carrying bracketarm.
Having thus described our invention, what we claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a bur-grinding-grinder frame, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof we have signed our names in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
JAMES JACOBSEN. PETER J AOOBSEN.
