DESIGN FOR AN ORNAMENTAL TRIMMING FOR GAS AND ELECTRIC-LIGHT FIXTURES.

To all whom, it may concern:

Be it known that I, ERNEST GOTHBERG, a

gitizen of the United States, residing at Jery City, in the county of Hudson and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Ornamental Trimmings for Gas and Electric-Light Fixtures, of which the followingisaspecification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in which- Figure l is a side elevation of a trimming for gas and electric-light fixtures embodying my design, and Fig. 2 a cross-section on the line 2 2 thereof.

In the drawings forming part of this specification I have shown at a a hollow conical body designed as a trimming for gas and electrio-light fixtu res, and the leading or material feature of my design consists of the hollow body a, provided with the spirally-arranged grooves b, countersunk in the walls of said body, said grooves being larger at one end than at the other and the upper ends thereof being directed upwardly or toward the larger end of said body and the smaller end thereof downwardly or toward the apex thereof,which is cut away, as shown at c.

The alternate grooves 19 are longer than the others, the upper or larger ends thereof terminating in a horizontal plane below that in which the other or longer grooves terminate, and all of said grooves are curved from the upper ends thereof to the right and downwardly and spirally, as clearly shown in Fig. 1.

My design may be applied to double conical trimmings of the class shown or to trimmings having seinispherical ends or to other designs.

Having fully described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for an ornamental trimming for gas and electric-light fiXtu res, as herein shown and described.
