To (LIZ whom it may cmmern:
Be it known that I, RAYMOND M. HATCH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Bnffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Puzzle-Board, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a puzzle-board; and the essential feature of the same resides in a body simulating a pen in form and having an outwardly and upwardly projecting handle and provided with a series of upstanding straight strips on the bottom in square form and with openings between the contiguous ends.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective View of a puzzle-board embodying the featn res of the design. Fig. 2 is a transverse vertical section of the same.
The numeral 1 designates abody in the form of a pan and having an upstanding flaring rim 2 and an outwardly-extending upwardlydireeted handle 3 and a curved lip 4. On the bottom of the pan, within the confines oi the rim 2, are a series of straight strips 5, which are arranged at an angle to each other in the form of a square, the said ends being spaced apart to form openings between them. The strips rise vertically from the bottom of the body and are less in height than the rim 2, and between the strips and the rim asurround- Eng space is formed. At the outer portions of the openings, between the acute ends of the strips, are up \vardlyextendi ng convex projections 6, one of said projections being opposite each opening.
Having thus described the inventiomwhnt is claimed as new is- Thedesign for a puzzle-board, herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as myown I have hereto affixed my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
