wmuass INVENTOR r g a ATTORNEYS UNITED STATES \VlLLlAM ll. ZUIMERMAN, 0F SUNNY SIDE,
PATENT OFFICE.
PENNSY LYAN IA.
DESIGN FOR A PAIL-HANDLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,443, dated April 3, 1900.
Application filed Fehruary 21, 1900. Serial No. 61118. Term of patent 14 years.
Be it known that I, WILLIAM H. ZIMMER- MAN, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Sunny Side, in the county of Allegheny and State 01 Pennsylvania, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Pail-Handles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing.
As shown in the accompanying drawing, the handle consists of the novel outline and configuration which will he hereinafter more fully described and specifically pointed out.
In describing the invention in detail reference is had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification, which illustrates a perspective view of my design for handles for buckets, pails, and the like.
Referring to the drawing by reference-numerals, 1 indicates a flat band, the edges thereof terminating in loops 2 3, which are cylindrical in cross-section. The band 1 is bent in a segmental manner and formed with inwardly-extending curvilinear portions 4 5, forming an elliptical-shaped grip U, having a circular-shaped inner face 7.
The reference-numerals 8 denote a curved offset upon the outer face of the baud within each of the curvilinear portions 4 5, and 9 indicates an opening formed at each end of the baud.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a pailhandle, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
WILLIAM ll. ZIMMERM'AN.
