DESIGN FOR A COACH-LAMP.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it ma/y come/rn- Be it known that I, JAMES H. DOWNS, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven, and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Coach- Lamps; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with lthe accompanying drawings, and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in-

Figure 1, a front view of the lamp, and in Figure 2, a side view.

This invention relates to an improvement in the form or conguration of the lamp-body, irrespective of the other portions, and the invention consists in` .forming the front of the lamp in a four-sided figure,

the four sides extending through the length of the body, and each ofthe sides in shape as denoted in fig. 1, that is to say, convex in the centre, as at A, running into a concave surface, B, toward each edge, and this same curvature extending across the side, as denoted in fig. 2.

Having fully described my invention, What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
