DESIGN FOR A CLOCK-CASE.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making pan of the eamo.
To all whom 1' t may concern Beit known that I, Geenen B. OWEN, of Winsted, in the county of Litcheld, :nid Stute of Connecticut, have invented o new tud originel Design for Clock- Case; and I do hereby declare that the following is n full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the nrt to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drewings, forming part of this specification, in Which- Figure 1 is a front or face view of n wooden clock- Icese, constructed according to my design.
Figure 2 is a horizontal section of the seme, taken in the line z x, fig. 1.
Similar letters of reference indicate like parts.
rlhis invention relates to a. new and improved design for n wooden clock-ease, and of that class which are provided with e double-inclined or Gothic top.
In the accompanying sheet of drawings, A represents the bese of the clock-cese, which is of rectangular form, and has its upper edge rounded in semicir cular form, es shown :tt e.
The front edges of the sides, B B, of the ense are rounded, forming convex surfaces, b l), und the upper ends of B have turned ornements, C C, secured ou them, as shown clearly in iig. 1.
The top of the clock has u. double-inclined or Gothic top, the front edges oi' the sides, 1) D, of which have a rounded or convex surfztee, c, to correspond with the convex surfaces, b I), of the sides B.
To the inner edges of the convex surfaces b b, e e, und also to the top of the bese, A, there is attached :t moulding, E, of gilt, which extends all around; and within this moulding the door F is iitted, the Whole forming :t chaste und ornfunentnl design for :t wooden clock.
Having thus described my invention,
I claim as new, :tud desire to secure by Letters Pattent- The design for :t clock-crise, 'fis herein shown and described.
