DESIGN FOR A MOLDlNG-BED.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,064, dated January 2, 1900.
Application filed November 15, 1899. Serial No.73'7,143. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concerns Be it known that I, CHARLES LA DOW, of Albany, county of Albany, and State of New York, have invented a new and useful Design for a Molding-Bed, illustrated by the acconpanying sheet of drawings and described in the aecompanying specification, reference being had to the lines and figures on said drawings.
My design relates to nolding-beds for plowshares, in which- Fignre lis a plan View. Fig. is a seotional View taken through the line y y of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a seetional View taken through the line mm of Fig. 1, and Fig. 4 is a plan View of the reverse side of Fig. 1.
The leading features of my design are, first, aplate or bed B, substantiallydiamond shape in Outline, having on one of its surfaces the face of each of two plowshares A A, so outlined on the bed as to present hollows or concaved portions at C O, taken through the line m w in Fig. l, and also shown at O C in Fig. 3; second, the aforesaid hollowed portions are bordered by raised portions at c c on each share, taken through the line m ar, (shown in Fig. 1, and also shown at e c cc in Fig. 3;) third, the narrowest end of the outlined design of each share A A is shown as being at a vertical angle relatively to the horizontal face of the bed B at a b, taken through the line y y in Fig. 1, the part (L being higher relatively to bed B than the part b, also shown in Fig. 2; fourth, two plowshares of substantially the shape shown having their back or reverse sides hidden by bed B, on which they rest, and having their face portions hollowed.
I claim- The design fora molding-bed snbstantially as shown and described.
