To all whom, it may concern-,-

Be it known that I, J AMES N. CARTER, of McKinney, in the county of Collin and State of Texas, have invented and produced anew and original Design for a Clothes-Spring, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.

Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in all the figures.

' Figure 1 is a perspective view of aclothes spring embodying my new design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation, and Fig. 3 is an edge view.

The design consists in a coiled wire having its terminals in the form of side arms 19, which project laterally in opposite directions from opposite sides of the coil and terminate in loop-like handle members a, which project outwardly approximately parallel with the coil.

The design for a clothes-spring herein described and shown.
