To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, EPHRAIM L. SCHANCK, of Delaware, in the county of Delaware and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Tie for Bags, Bundles, and the Like, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.

Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both figures.

Figure 1 is a side elevation embodying my new design, and Fig. 2 is a top plan View of the same.

The leading feature of my design consists in the tie having a loop and arms departing from the loop in opposite directions at an angle to each other, one of the arms being returned on itself. Thus a indicates the loop, from which the arms I) and c extend at an angle to each other and depart in opposite directions, the arm a being returned bent, as at c, said return end a and the arm 0 being spaced from each other and lying about parallel with each other.

I claim-- The design for a tie for bags, bundles and the like herein shown and described.
