lie it known that I, Fnnnnmrn I". But- HOEFER, a citizen of the ll nited States, l'esld' ing at New York, in the eountyof New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design forb'tools, of which the following is a specification, rel'- erenoe being had to the accompanying draw ings, forming a part thereof, of which Figure l is a side View of a stool, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is an end View thereof.
As shown in the drawings, the loading or material feature of my design consists of a transverse cross-piece 1, having a semieyliw drieal or convex top '2 and a straight bar or rod 3, extended downwardly from the under Side of said top eross-piece. The top and sides of the top cross-piece 1 are formed by the curved sem ieylindrical or convex surface, while the bottom of said cross-piece is flat or straight, as shown at i.
