lie it known that I, HENRY G. ROTH, e citizen of the United States, residingat Minneap olis, in the county of Hennepin, Minnesota., have invented and produced a new find originel Design for a Display-Fixture for Stores, et' which the following is a specification1 reference being had to the accompanying d rewingr, forming a perfJ thereof.

In said drawing the single view is n perspective with some parts broken away, illustrating e. display-fixture for stores embodying my invention.

As therein shown, the lending or materiel features of my design are the columns a, the capitals or head-pieces b, lthe arch or connect,- ing plates c, and the cove-plates d and e, with the Said parte disposed in respect te each other, :is shown.

The columns a are represented as rising from the top member of the display-shelving l and as mede up ot' a series of sections.

The capitals i) are of circuler form.

The arch or connecting plates c are undercnt'on curved lines intersecting with each other, so as to give en eiect from the archplete somewhat similar to drapery. The coveplatjes d and e coperete to form a. cornice surmountingr the arch-plates c. The cove-pleines d and e nre both of enrved or concave form;

but the member e surnionnts the member d. and rises therefrom nearly in everticel pinne, so as to give therefrom n retreating effect in respect to the cove Cl.

The head-pieces l1, the arch-plates c, and the cove-plates (Z end e are in practice covered with paint or paper in suitabie contrasting' colors.

l/ViLh the seid parts o., b, c, d, and e disposed as above described acolonnede canopy is afforded to the display-slielving,wl1ich adds greatly to the artistic effect. This design is especially intended for use in grocery and other stores, snrmonnting shelving for displeying canned and bott-led goods.

The fece-surfaces of the plates b, c, d, and e may be utilized for display-cards advertising: the different kinds of goods.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secu re by Letters Patent of the United States, is es follows:

The design for e. display-fixture for stores, substantially as herein shown and described.
