SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,525,dated September 19, 1899.

Be itknown that I, HENRY G. ROTH, a citi- Zen of the United States, residing at Minneapolis, in the county of Hen nepin, Minnesota, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Display-Fixture for Stores, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
In said drawing the single View is a perspective illustrating a display fixture for stores embodying my invention.
As therein shown, the loading or material features of my design are the columns a, capitals or head pieces I), arch or connecting plates c, and the corn ice or cove plates d. The columns a are represented as rising from the top member 1 of the display-shelving, the division-plates of which are shown at 3 partly broken away The columns are shown as it made up of a series of sections.
Thecolumns are shown as of circular Form. The head-pieces b at the tops of the columns a. are shown as of octagon form. The arch or connecting plates (2 are shown as nmlorcut on straight lines intousoctiIn; each other, so as to give the effect oi an angular arch The cornice or cove plates (1 curve outward.
The head-pieces I), the arch-plates c, and the cove-plates d are in practice usually covered with paint or paper in suitable contrasting colors.
'With the parts a, Z), c, and (l disposed as above described a colonnade canopy is afforded to the display-shelving, which adds greatly to the artistic eii'ect.
This design is especially intended for use in grocery and other stores for displaying canned and bottled goods.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is as follows:
The design for a display-fixture for stores, substantially as herein shown and described.
