SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,413, dated August 15, 1899. Application filed July 15,1899. Serial 110,724,004. Tern: of patent 7 years.
lie it known that I, JAuEs I3. \VALKER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rush Springs, in the Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design fora Rail-Brace and Tie-Plate; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
The invention relates to a new and original design for a rail-brace and tie-plate; and it consists of adesign of the con figuration shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a perspective view. Fig. 2 is a. longitudinal sectional view. Fig. 3 is a crossseetional view.
The leading feature of the design comprises the plate 1, one end of which is provided with l a projecting tongue 2, having rising therefrom i and extending inwardly an inclined housing 3, which has a portion of its lower edges 4 projecting above and over the plate 1, the apertures 5 arranged in rectangular order, and the aperture 6 at the rear of the housing. The under side of the plate is provided with two downwardly-projecting lugs 7, formed with inclined edges 8.
What I claim isi The design for a rail-brace and tie-plate as herein shown and described.
