My design relates to the new and original shape or configuration of the article.

The leading or'essential'feature consists in the unitary design for a paste-jar made the subject of illustration, comprising the shape of the outer cylindrical wall A, horizontal bottom B, and inner partition 0, which latter is of generally semicircular form and of less height than that of the outer wall A, to

which it is joined. The partition 0 rises vertically from the bottom B, and the inner or concave face of said partition gradually tapers or converges away from the adjacent portion of the wallA, and the outer or convex face of said partition G first curves inward from the bottom toward the concave face and then as it rises curves or flares outward to the top, and the said partition is very considerably thicker atit-s base than atits top.

Minor features of this design comprise a slight inward and downward taper of the inner surface of the cylindrical outer wall A and the horizontal exterior annular ribs D D. Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure byLetters Patent, is-- p The design for a paste-jar substantially as herein shown and described.
