DESIGN FOR A BICYCLE-FRAME.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,051, dated June 20, 1899. Application filed May 16, 1899. Serial No. 717,105. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, MAURICE E. BLOOD, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Kalamazoo, in the county of Kalamazoo and State of Michigan, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Bicycle Frames, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for bicycle-frames, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a bicycleframe, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is an enlarged sectional View taken on line 2 2 of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is also an enlarged sectional view taken on line 3 3 of Fig. 1, looking toward the forks in each instance.
As shown in the drawings, the leading and material features of my design consist of the shanks B and C to the forks, which are diamond-shaped in cross-section and arranged in connection with the prongs C'and B of the rear forks, as shown in Fig. 1 of the drawings. The remaining portions of the bicycle-frame are made up of straight tubes arranged in a manner similar to bicycle-frames now in common use.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a bicycle-frame as herein shown and described.
