DESIGN FOR A CLOCK-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,985, dated June Application filed May 17,1899. Serial No. 717,222. Term of patent 7 years.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material features of our design consist in a clock-case resembling in general outline a vase, the main body a. of which is of substantially cylindrical shape and having a central opening I) and an oval convex-ribbed periphery 0. Upon either side are attached suitable handles (1, having scroll and bead ornamentations. A wreath of leaves and berries e of attractive appearance, together with an ornamented base f, surmounts the main body. This main body is mounted u pon an attractive flaring support 9, containing ornamental oval medallions h, annular convex ribs 1', and feet j, also having medallion and headed ornamentations.
It will be apparent that this design can also be used for other purposes than that stated.
