DESIG N.
Patented Apr. ll, I899.
J. ROSENBERG.
LIQUID RECEPTACLE.
(Application Mad Max:
UNITED STATES PATENT ()EEICE.
.l A0013 I-LOSENBERG, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR A LIQUID-RECEPTACLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,534, dated. April 11, 1899.
Application filed March 16 1899. Serial No- 709,34Z. Term of patent 14 years.
To a whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JACOB ROSENBERG, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Liquid-Receptacles, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, in which Figure 1 is a perspective view, and Fig. 2 is a horizontal section on the line m.
The leading and material feature of my design is the liquid-receptacle made the subject of the illustration herein.
The base 1 is circular in form and has rising from it the pedestal 2 of the receptacle pr0per,3. The said receptacle bulges abruptly from a point a short distance above the upper end of the pedestal 2 and is polygonal in cross-section, as shown. Adjacent to the widest part of the receptacle and in substantially the same horizontal plane is arranged a series of radially-disposed faucets 4, having downwardly extending spouts 5. From a point a short distance above the faucets i the sides of the receptacle gradually converge until they merge into a substantially cylindrical neck 6, from the upper end of which extends a plurality of supplemental angularlyarranged sides or mouthpieces 7, the side edges of which are in contact with each other and the upper edges of which are rounded.
By the term liquid-receptacle" used in this specification it will of course be understood that I intend to include such receptacles as water-bottles, carafes, decaniers, and the like.
Having now described the invention, what I claim is The design for a liquid-receptacle, substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I aflix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
JACOB ROSENBERG.
