DESIGN FOR A GAME-BOARD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,467, dated April 4, 1899.
Application led February 11, 1899. Serial No. 705,346. Tm oi' patent years.

Beit known that LWILLIAM BOTT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Columbus, in the county of Franklin and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Gameoard, of which the following is a speciiieation, reference being had t0 the accompanying drawings, forming part tliereoand in which like characters refer to correspondingly-formed parts.
Myinvention relates to adesign for a gaineboard, and is fully illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in Which- Figure 1 is a top plan view of a game-board embodying my invention. Fig. 2 is a central vertical sectional elevation thereof on lineX X of Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 is a similar view thereol on line Y Y of Fig. 1.
In said drawings, 10 represents the gaineboard,provided on its opposite long edges with vertical straight walls 1l and 12 and on its opposite short edges,respeetively,with a semieircular vertical wall 13 and a substantially straight wall 14, connecting said Walls 11 and 12. Adjacent said walls 1l and 12 and parallel therewith are vertical Walls 17 and 18, extending from near the opposite ends of said wall11 substantially to and at a slight distance from the points of beginning of said wall 13, at which points said walls 17 and 18 terminate in points 19, as shown. Between the walls 17 and 18 and 18 and 12 are respectively forrned parallel grooves 2O and 21 substantially on a level with the board 10 and opening toward said curved wall 13, and in the opposite ends of said grooves 2O and 21 are slots 22 and 23, respectively, passing through the board 10. At one end of said board 10 and adjacent to the wall 14 thereof is formed a rectangular slot 24, passing through said board 10 and extending between the adjacent faces of said walls 17 and 18. At the ends of said slot 24 are rectangular slots 25 and 2G in the corners of said walls 14 and '11 and 12, said slots 25 and 2G extending from the top and partially through said walls, as shown.
The essential feature of my design for a gaine-hoard consists of a game-board provided with grooves on opposite sides opening at one end toward the curved end Wall of said board and a slot passing through said game-board at its end opposite the curved end W all thereof.
That I claim is- The design for a game-board, substantially as shown and described.
