Be it known that I, HERMANN MEEKEL, a citizen 0i the United States, residing in the city of St. Louis, State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Hydrocarbon-Burner, of which the following is a specification.
Figure I is a side elevation of a hydrocarbon-burner embodying my design. Fig. II is a top plan view.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or essential feature of my design for the hydrocarbon-burner consists of the portion 1, the cylindrical portion 2, extending upwardly from the portion 1, the cylindrical portion 3, extending upwardly from near the upper end of the portion 2 at an angle of substantially forty-five degrees, the cylindrical portion 4, extending in a horizontal plane crosswise of the upper end of the portion 3, the cylindrical portion 5, extending upwardly from one end of the portion 4: in vertical alinement with the portion 2, the cylindrical portion thus extending upwardly from the portion 5, said portion 6 having the recesses 7 in its outer face near its upper end, and the slits 8, extending upwardly from its upward end. The opening 9' extends through the portions 5 and 6 and is enlarged at its upper end to form the shoulders 10. The head 11 is located between the portions 5 and 6, and the head 12 is located upon the upper end of the portion 4, and the eye 13 extends upwardly from the portion 3.
I claim- The design for a hydrocarbon-burner substantially as herein shown and described.
