CHARLIE E. GRAY, OF PECATONIGA, ILLINOIS.
DESIGN FOR A SYRlNGE-NOZZLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,313, dated March '7, 1899.
Application filed February 10, 1899. Serial No- 705,208. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLIE E. GRAY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Pecatonica, in the county of Winnebago and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Syringe-Nozzle, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a syringe-nozzle; and it has forits object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in the cylindrical tubular body of a nozzle, provided at one end with a conical terminal nose, an annular exteriorly threaded collar contiguous to said conical nose, and an annular rounded groove in the exterior surface thereof at the inner side of the threaded collar.
The minor features of the design are the cylindrical tubular body being of a longitudinally-tapering form and provided at the end opposite the conical terminal nose with a deflected curved tip portion disposed at an obtuse angle to the straight part of the body.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective of a syringe-nozzle embodying the design eontemplated by the present invention. Fig. 2 is a plan view thereof. Fig. 3 is a longitudinal sectional view.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, the numeral 1 designates the cylindrical tubular body of the nozzle, which is straight for the greater portion of its length, and tapers longitudinally from end to end. The said cylindrical tapering tubular body is provided at one end with a deflected curved tip portion 2, disposed at an obtuse angle to the straight part of the body, and at the end opposite the tip portion the said body is provided with a conical terminal nose 3. Contiguous to the conical terminal nose 3 the cylindrical body of the nozzle is provided with an exteriorly-threaded annular collar 4, and adjacent to and at the inner side of said collar the body is further provided with an exterior annular rounded groove 5, which completes the design for the nozzle.
What is claimed is- The design for a syringenozzle, herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my own I have hereto affixed my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
CHARLIE E. GRAY.
