UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
HOWARD C. VVOGLOM, OF HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT.
DESIGN FOR A PAPER-WEIGHT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,532, dated. October 25, 1898.
Application filed September 22, 1898. $erial No. 691,667. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Beit known that I, HOWARD C. WooLoM, a citizen of the United States, residing in Hartford, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pa1Jer-\Veight, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a design for paper- Weights.
The main feature of my design is a plurality of connected spheres, one of which bears a flag, and which spheres are assembled to form a figure resembling somewhat a pile of shot.
In the drawings accompanying and forming part of this specification, Figure 1 is a plan view of a paper-weight embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same; and Fig. 3 is an under side View thereof, partially in section, showing a manner of connecting the spheres.
Similar characters designate like parts in all the figures of the drawings.
Each of the spheres or balls is designated by 2, and three of them are in contact and in a common plane and serve to form a base for the figure, While the fourth is supported upon the other three and bears upon its surface a flag 4. These spheres are permanently joined to one another by means of pins 3, as illustrated in Fig. 3.
I claim The design for a paper-weight, substantially as herein shown and described.
HOWARD C. WOGLOM.
