The minor features of the design are the upstanding arms at the ends of the semitubular bar, each having a lateral offset eye at its upper extremity and at an intermediate point, and the wire body Within the concaved side of the bar having separate parallel strands provided with coiled extremities joined to the bar.
In the drawings, Figure l is a perspective view of the obverse side of a combined rein guard and holder embodying the herein-described design. Fig. 2 is a similar view of the reverse side of the combined guard and holder. Fig. 3 is a rear elevation thereof.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, the numeral 1 designates a straight semitubular bar of a U shape in cross-section and 0 provided at its opposite extremities with right-angularly-disposed upstanding arms 2. The oppositely-located upstanding arms 2 at the ends of the bar are arranged parallel with relation to each other, and each of said arms 4 5 is provided at its upper extremity and at an intermediate point with a lateral offset eye 3.
At its rear side and within the concavity thereof the said semitubular bar 1 is further provided with a longitudinally-arranged wire 50 body 4:, extending nearly the entire length thereof and having separate parallel strands 5, which are provided at one end with coiled extremities 6, joined to the bar. At its end opposite the connection of the strands 5 with 5 5 the bar the said wire body): is provided with a looped end *7, which is curved or deflected outwardly.
An additional feature of the design is the semitubular bar being provided on the outer 6o convened side thereof and centrally between its ends with an offstanding horizontally-arranged rectangular loop 8.
What is claimed is The design for a combined rein guard and 65 holder, herein shown and described.
