DESIGN FOR A SPRAYER ATTACHMENT FOR WASHING-MACHINES.

To all whom it may concern.-

130 it known that I, J AMES V. RAKEsTRAW, a citizen of the United States, residing at \Vellington, in the county of Sumner and State of Kansas, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Sprayer Attachment for \Vashing-Maehincs, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to a new and original design for a sprayer attachment for washing-machines; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.

The leading feature of the design resides in an oblong body having a peripheral pendent flange, a plurality of upright tubes arising from the top portion of the body at the opposite longitudinal side edges thereof, and an oblong band lying parallel with the body and encircling the entire series of tubes at the upper ends thereof.

The minor features of the design are the oblong body having rounded end portions and a downwardly-dished top portion, the upright tubes of a tapering form and provided in their inner sides with a vertical series of holes, and the oblong band provided with rounded end portions conforming to the curvature of the rounded end portions of the body which is parallel therewith.

In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a sprayer attachment for washingmachines embodying the herein-described design. Fig. 2 is a vertical longitudinal sectional View thereof. Fig. 3 is a vertical crosssectional view of the same.

Referring to the drawings, the numeral 1 designates an oblong body with rounded end portions 2 and having a downwardly-dished top portion 3 and a peripheral pendent flange l extending continuously around the edge thereof.

A plurality of upright tapering tubes 5 arise from the top portion of the body at the opposite longitudinal side edges thereof, and these tubes are provided in their inner sides with a vertical series of holes 6. The tubes at opposite side edges of the body are arranged in substantial parallelism, and the upper ends of all of the tubes connect with an oblong band 7, which encircles the entire series of tubes and is arranged in a plane parallel with the plane of: the body 1. The said oblong band 7 is also provided with rounded end portions 8, which conform to the curvature of the rounded ends 2 of the body.

What is claimed is- The design for a sprayer attachment for washingmachines, herein shown and described.
