SPECIFICATION forming part 0f Design No. 29,007, dated July 5, 1898. Application tiled June 13,1898. Serial No. 683,367. Term of' patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, LOUIS L. RUPP, of the ciy of New York, (borough of Manhattan in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Trimming, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact specification.

Reference is 'no be had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification, in which the figure is a plan View of a trimming, showing my design.

The design consists of a series of parallelspaced strands A, interwoven with crossing strands B and forming the body of the fabric, with festoohs C overhanging or appearing in front of the strands A and interiooped at the beginning of the festoons with the crossing strands B, adj acent festoons crossing each other. Some of the festoons C appear in plain strands, while others, as at O', appear in the form of a strand wound spirally on a core.

The leading feature of my design consists of festoons appearing on the face of the body of the fabric.

I claim- The design for a trimming, as herein shown and described.
