DAVID STEEL WALLACE, OF KOKOMO, INDIANA.
DESIGN FOR A FLUSH-TANK FOR WATER-CLOSETS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,472, dated Apr112, 1898. Application iiled October 4, 1897. Serial No. 654,086. Term of patent Si years.
To all whom it may concern.:
Be it known that LDAvID STEEL WALLACE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Kokomo, in the county of Howard and State of Indiana, have invented a new and original Design for Flush-Tanks for Water-Closets, of which the following is a speeieation.
This invent-ion relates to a new and original designior a Hush-tank for water-closets; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in an approximately rectangular body having its front Wall compoundly curved on sig- Inoidal lines to provide the same with a central convexed portion andconcavities above and below the latter, which coneavities merge into the convexed portion and the upper and lower edges of the body on curved lines, said body being further provided with longitudinally-concaved end walls and rounded vertical corner portions and upper and lower horizontal edge portions, which are sigmoidally curved in correspondence with the curvature of the front and end walls.
A minor feature of the design resides in the body having a straight iiat back wall and a sloping bottom portion merging into a pendent tapering neck.
In the drawings, Figure l is a perspective view of a flush-tank for water-closets embodying the herein-described design. Fig. 2 is a vertical sectional central view thereof.A Fig.

In addition to the features referred to the rectangular body 1 is provided with a straight flat back wall 4 and a sloping bottom portion 5, which merges into a pendent tapering neck 6 and completes the design.
What I claim is- The design foraflush-tank for water-closets herein shown and described.
