Application filed December 2'7, 1397. Serial No. 663,770. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
.le it known that I, ROBERT C. M. BowLEs, residing in Brookline, in the county of Norfolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and original Design for Stethoscopic Instruments, of which the following description, in connection with the accompanying drawings, is a specification, like letters on the drawings representing like parts.
The design relates to a stethoscopic instrument; and it consists of a stethoseopic instrument distinguished by its peculiar shape, as will be hereinafter set forth and claimed.
Figure 1 is a top or plan View of a stethoscopic instrument embodying this design, and Fig. 2 a side elevation of the instrument shown in Fig. 1.
The leading and distinguishing feature of this design consists in a stethoscopic instrument of the shape or con figuration shown and consists of a substantially thin body a, having extended from its back or upper surface a tube or pipe a, which, arising from substantially the center of said body, extends toward and to near the rim of the same in a plane approximately parallel to the front or lower surface thereof.
I claim The design for a stethosoopic instrument herein shown and described.
