TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, JAMES BINGIIAM, Jr., of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia, and State o Pennsylvania, have originated and designed a new Pattern for Spoons, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.

This invention relates to a new and original design for a tea. and table-spoon, which is described as follows:

In the accompanying sheet of drawings- Figure 1 is a front view of a spoon constructed according to my improved design.

Figure 2, a transverse section of the same, taken in the line a: x, fig. l.

Similar letters of reference indicate like parts.

A represents the bowl of the spoon, which may be of the usual form, and B-is the stem or handle portion, which is of luted cylindrical form, und has a fillet or bead a at each end of the Huted or corrugated portion. The form of the utes or corrugations is shown clearly in Iig. 2. The handle or stem B terminates in :i head, C, of flaring or bell shape, with bevel IJ at its end, as shown clearly in tig. 1.

Having thus described my invention, I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a teaspoon herein shown and described.
