DESIGN FOR A CABINET.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,633, dated September '7', 1897.

Application filed May 14, 1897. Serial No. 636,569. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom, it may concern:

Be it known that I, ALBERT F. WALTER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chatsworth, in the county of Livingston and State of Illinois, have invented a new and original Design for Curtain-Cabinets, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to a new and original design for curtain-cabinets; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.

The leading feature of the design resides in an upright rectangular body provided with vertical corner-strips having at their angles rounded beads extending longitudinally from end to end thereof, said body also being provided at its front side with a vertically-alined series of rectangular panels, the lowermost of said panels having a rectangular marginal frame surrounding the four edges thereof and the remaining panels above the lowermost panel being provided with straight marginal strips only at their upper and two end edges.

In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective View of aeurtain-cabinet embodying the herein-deseribed design. Fig. 2 is a front elevation thereof.

Referring to the accompanying drawings, the numeral 1 designates an upright rectangular body provided with a flat horizontal top board 2 and at the bottom with a series of pendent short leg projections 23. The said bodyl is provided at its corners with Vertical corner-strips 4, having at their angles narrowed rounded beads 5, extending longitudinally from end to end thereof.

At its front side or end the body 1 is provided with a vertically-aimed series of rectangular panels 6, the lowermost of which reotangular panels is provided with a rectangular marginal frame 7, surrounding the edges thereof. The remaining panels (J above the panel provided with the marginal frame 7 are provided with straight marginal strips 8, which are only arranged at the upper and opposite end edges thereof, and said straight marginal strips 8 meet at the upper corners of the panels having the same.

What I claim is The design for a curtain -cahinet, herein shown and described.
