Application filed April 17,1897. Serial No. 632,675. Term of patent 7 years.
To JZ whom t 111m/ concern:
Beit known that I, ANNA LoUIsE JacKsoN, acitizen of the United States, residingat Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and prod need a new and original Design for Fruit- Shredders, of which the following is a speeiieation, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the drawings forming part of this specification, Figure l is a plan View showing my new design; Fig. 2, a transverse section on the line 2 2, and Fig. 3 a transverse section on the line 3 3 of Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a handle A, which is semieircnlar in cross-seetion and which is provided at one end with a semicireular head B, on which is formed a plurality of prongs or projections C, which are curved longitudinally and transversely into the form of a. spoon, the head B being also similarly curved, and the end of the handle A opposite the head l is pointed, as shown at D, and the groove formed in the handle of the spoon extends from one end thereof to the other. It will be seen that the handle of the shredder is concave on one side in cross-seetion and convex on the other, and the head B, with which the prongs C are connected, is plain on its opposite side, but may he en` grayed, chased, or otherwise ornamcnied, as desired.
