FREDERICK \V. CIIESSOX, OF \VATERBITRY, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE AUERIGAN RING COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A METAL MOUNT FOR FURNITURE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,902 dated April 13, 1897.
Application filed December 26, 1896. Serial No. [317,111. Term of patent. 7 years.
130 it known that I, FREDERICK \V. CHES- SON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Vaterbury, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Metal Mounts for Furniture, the, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is an elevation, Fig. 2 a vertical section, and Fig. Saplan view, fully illustrat ing my design.
The leading features of my design consist in the central bead of the body portion, the offset bands or rings at each side thereof, and the adjacent curved portions of the eonoid upper end.
The central bead of the body is shown at (t and the oltset bands or l'l ngs b l) at the respective sides of the central bead. Above the band portion Z) the body portion is contracted with a compound curved surface at c, the ring at J, and cove at e, and the body portion terminates with the conoid upper end f. Below the ring or band (1' the body portion contracts, and comprises the curved portion 7a, the ring or band i, the cove 7;, and the base-ring I.
What I claim is- The design for a metal mount for furniture, &c., substantially as herein shown and described.
