DESIGN FOR A COUPLING OB NIPPLE FOR PIPES.
Application filed May 25, 1909.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ADxaI-I Moh iinnrnln, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Coupling 0r Nipple for Pipes, of which the following is a specification,reference being made to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The drawing shows in Figure 1, in perspective, Fig. 2 in plan, a coupling or nipple in which my new design is embodied.
The purpose of such nipples is to afford an ornamental terminal member for pipes, to cover the rough end of the pipe, and in the drawings the reference numeral 1 designates the base of the nipple which is of cylindrical contour; 2 is the body or shank portion of annular, cylindrical, shape, terminating' in a face 3 which extends in a Specification for Design.

curve of substantially circular section around to the interior of the nipple; and the numeral & designates ribs which in their relation to the parts already described constitute the principal distinctive feature of my design, these ribs springing from the cylindrical base flange 1, and extending slightly beyond the region at which the face 3 begins to curve, so that the juncture of each rib 4 with the face 3 is marked by a clearly defined substantially circular curved line 5.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a coupling or nipple for pipes, substantially as herein shown and described.
