Be it known that 1, ROBERT MOKEAN THOMAS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Elizabeth, in the county of Union and State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Coupling or Nipple for Pipes, of which the following is a specification, reference being had. to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The drawing shows in Figure 1, in perspective, Fig. 2 in plan a coupling or nipple in which my new design is embodied.
The purpose of such nipples is to afford an Ornamental terminal member for pipes, to cover the rough end, and in the drawings, the reference numeral 1 designates the base of the nipple which is of cylindrical contour;
2 is the body or shank portion of polygonal P contour; 3 is the face portion presenting the appearance of a bead, separated from the E polygonal shank by a clearly defined shoulder 4, and extending in a curve of substantially 5 circular section around to the interior 5 of the nipple, which is of annular Shape.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a coupling or nipple for pipes, substantially as herein shown and described.
