FREDERICK \Y. CIIESSOX, OF UVFERBURY, CONNE JTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE AMERICAN RING UOMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A METAL MOUNT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,512, dated August 10, 1897.
Application filed December 26, 1896. Serial No. 617,115. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that LFREDERICK \V. CHESSON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Vaterbury,in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Metal Mounts, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in Which Figure 1 isan elevation, and Fig. 2 is a plan, of my design.
The general configuration of the metal mount is round; and the leading features of my design consist in the cylindrical body having a group of parallel connected circumferential semicircular beads of equal width, the adjacent conical portion, band,and cove, the
convex rib, and adjacent bands, and the contracted end.
The group of parallel connected circumferential semicircular beads of equal width are shown at a, the adjacent conical portions at b b, the bands at c c, the coves at (Z d, the convex ribs at e e, the bands at 2 and 3, and the contracted ends atff.
\Vhat I claim is The design fora metal mount, substantially as shown and described.
