DESIGN FOR A DRESS-FORM.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,690, dated February 23, 1897'.
Application filed April 20, 1896. Serial No. 588,391. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Lo UIS E. IIAcHERELLE,a citizen of the United States, residing at Peoria, in the county of Peoria and State of Illinois, have produced a new and original Design for Dress-Forms; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My invention relates to a new and original design for dress-forms as represented in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a front view of the dressform, and Fig. 2 is a vertical section on the line 2 2, Fig. 1.
In the drawings, 1 represents the form.
which is symmetrical as to two sides and is divided by a central line 2. It has an upper concave curve 3, concave curves 4 at the sides, and ogee curves 5, extending downwardly from the curves 5 to the bottom. Ex-
tending upwardly from the bottom are pattern-lines 7, and at or near the upper ends of said lines is on each side a group S of substantially parallel pattern-lines 9. Each group has an upper edge or border 10, substantially parallel with the edge 11 of the form, an edge 12, substantially parallel with the curve i, and a convex curve 13, extending first doww wardlyin an oval orelliptieal form and then upward adjacent to the central line :3 and meeting the terminus of the edge 10.
The contour in vertical section, as shown in Fig. 2, is of an ogce curvature.
I claim The design for a dress-form substantially as shown.
