DESIGN FOR CANE FABRIC.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,552, dated January 19, 1897.
Application filed Defiemllelll, 1896. Serial No. 615,409 Term of patent 7 years.
ie it known that l, HENRY M. (oiaii-zs'rnn, ot- Gardner, in the county of \Vorcester and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cane Fabric, of which the l'ollouing is a specification.
Reference is to be had to theaeeompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification, which shows a piece of cane fabric with my design applied.
The leading feature of my design consists of the arrangement of companion parallel stripes a a between the companion parallel stripes b I), each of said pairs of stripes being of a contrasting color from the body of the j fabric and from each other, and each stripe being depressed upon its margin to show the body of the fabric as alternating marginal t checks.
f represents a piece of eane fabric bearing my design, whieh consists of the arrangement of parallel companion stripes u :1 between parallel companion stripes b b. Each pair of these stripes is of a contrasting color from the body of the fabric and from each other, and each stripe is depressed upon its margin to showthebodyot'thefabricasalternatingmarginal cheeks.
