DESIGN FOR A HEATING-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,474, dated December 29, 1896.
Application filed March 2, 1896. Serial No. 581,594. Term of patent 7 years.

Beit known that I, ANTON OHNEMUs, a citizen of the United States, residing at Quincy, in the county of Adams, State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Stoves, of which the following' is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing.
The drawing represents a perspective View of a stove, showing my design.
The leading feature of the design consists in the ornamental ring at the top, projecting out\\\'ardly from the stove-body and with lugs resting on the stove-top, a foot-rest having portions extending to the legs at opposite ends of the stove, and portions extending to the body portion of the stove on a higher plane, and a draft-door having the general form of a truncated right-angled triangle in crosssection, with a plate conforming to the curvature of the stove-body.
A is the body, cylindrical or oval in form.
B is the ornamental top ring, projecting outward from the stove-body and having the lateral arms c resting upon the top C of the stove.
D is the foot rail or rest, having curved projecting portions d bearing against the body of the stove and the depending curved portion d extending to the legs.
E is the draft-door over the boxing upon which it rests, which boxing has in end elevation the general contour of a truncated rightangled triangle.
F are ornamental bands surrounding the body portion near the top and bottom, and G is an ornamental urn upon the top over the fuel-opening.
That I claim as new is The design for a stove substantially as herein shown and described.
