OIL 0R GAS STOVE.
No. 21,985. Patented Nov. 8, 1892.
UNITED STATES EARL A. THISSELL AND PATENT OFFICE.
WILLIAM II. \VILDER, OI NORTHAMPTON, MASSACHUSETTS.
DESIGN FOR AN OIL OR GAS STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,985, dated November 8, 1892.
Application filed October 6, 1892. Serial No. 448.058- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, EARL A. THISSELL and WILLIAM H. WILDER, citizens of the United States, residingat Northampton, (Florence,) county of Hampshire, Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Oil or Gas Stoves, of which the following is a specification.
The drawing representsa perspective view of the design.
The general form of the stove is rectangular in cross-section. The base has its four sides extending vertically and of convex form. The legs form continuations of the base at the corners thereof. Immediately above the convex base is the combustion-chamber of slightly-less diameter, but of rectangular form. This chamber presents an enlarged or swell effect toward its lower portion by reason of its curved outline, which outline is that of a compound curve inclining slightly inwardly. Above the combustionchamber and of slightly less diameter is the rectangular drum of slightly-elongated form. At the upper end of this is the top, having its sides sloping inwardly, and surmounting this top and of less diameter is the crown-piece of cylindrical form. We claim- The design fora stove, as herein described and shown.
In testimony whereof we affix our signatures in presence of two witnesses.
EARL A THISSELL. WILLIAM II. WILDER. Witnesses:
W. W. TAUDY,
IIARLAN P. WILDER.
