DESlGN FOR AN EGG-BEATER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,438, dated December 22, 1896. Application filed October 7,1896. Serial No. 608,179. Term of patent 7 years.
To mil whom, it my concern 13c it known that LGEoRcE lI. STEELE,2L citizen of the United States, residing at Gloversville,county of Fulton,and State of New York, have invented and produced a. new and original Design for Egg-Beaters, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, showing a view in perspective of an egg-beater embodying my design.
The egg-heate r comprises the handle A,
whip l3, twisted stem or spindle 0, disk I), f
and bosses D and D.
The handle is elongated and of general cylindrieal form and surmounts the twisted stem or spindle C, which is of approximately the same length as the handle and extends therefrom to the boss 1) 0n the upper side of the disk, the disk lying in a plane at right angles to the stem or spindle and between the boss I) on the upper side and the similar boss D on the lower side.
The whip comprises a [mine ll upon the lower end of the spindle B, the frame having a general elliptical form except at its lower '1 end, where it is upwardly introverted to form a recess between two depending loops 1 The leading feature of the design consists of the egg-heater comprising the disk lying between the two bosses, with the twisted stem projecting npwardly from the upper boss and surmounted by the elongated handle, and the i whip.
