DESIGN FOR A FAN FOR SEWING-MACHINES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,155, dated October 6, 1896.
Application filed August 13, 1896. Serial No. 602,673. Term of patent '7 years.

Be it known that I, WILLIAM B. HALLO- WELL, a citizen of the United States, residing at Vashington, in the District of Columbia, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Fan Attachments for Sewing-Machines; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the figures of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
My invention relates to a design for a fan attachment for sewing-machines.
It relates to the entire configuration of the fan, and especially to a fan constructed of sheet metal.
My invention relates particularly to a fan as illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is an end elevation of a fan embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a reduced perspective view of the same.
Similar reference-numerals indicate the same parts.
The leading features of my design appear in the following description.
The fan comprises a base-ring 1, having a series of inner right-angular arms 2 2, terminating in semicircular ends 3, a series of outer right-angular arms 4 at, terminating in semicircular ends 5, and a series of radially-projecting propeller-shaped blades or Wings 6 6, the plane of which is at an angle to the basering 1.
Having thus fully described my design, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is-
The design for a fan for sewing-machines, substantially as herein shown and described.
