DESIGN FOR A BICYCLE-BAG.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,618, dated June 9, 1896.
Application filed October 23,1895. Serial No. 566,657. Term of patent '7 years.
To (LM whom, it may concern;
le it known that I, LAWRENCE i)ENNlEH, a citizen ef the United States, and a resident of New York, in the county oi' New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bicyclelags, of which the followi ng is a Specification.
My invention Consistel in a deSign for bieyele-bags; and it relates to the ornamental shape and eoniiguration which will be more fully described hereinafter.
The object of my invention is to produce a novel and attractive shape for bicycle-bags, and which will give to the rider oi' the bieyele the appearance of being mounted upon a horse.
Figure l is a side elevation of a design which embodies my invention. Fig. 2 is a horizontal Section of the sanne, taken upon the line 2 2 of Fig. l.
The general Shape and outline ot the bag a .is that of a horses head and neek. The rear end c of the bag is perfectly square. The lower end of the bag 1s formed on a curve e. In the side of the rear end of the bag is a door g, longer at its front than its rear edge and having ends that are inclined toward eaeh other from the front toward the rear. In the front portieri of the bag that is Shaped like a horses head is a lens i.
Having thus described my invention, l Claim The design for a bicycle-bag, substantially as shown and described.
