DESIGN FOR A SKYLIGHT-TILE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,331, dated March 31, 1896. Application filed February 8, 1896. Serial No. 578,614. Term of patant14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JACOB MARK, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bulls-Eyes or Lights for Skylights, of which the following is a speci fieation, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, showing the parts thereof.
Figure 1 is a plan View illustrating my new design. Fig. 2 is a sectional view showing the hemispherical portions.
The leading feature of my design consists in a surface having raised hemispherical portions arranged in the form of a star, and a raised central hemispherical portion.
A second leading feature of my design consists in a surface having raised hemispherical portions arranged in the form of a star, each point of which is formed of a series of raised hemispherical portions in two rows, each row being at an angle to the other, and a raised central hemispherical portion.
A third leading feature consists in a surface having raised hemispherical portions arranged in the form of a star, a raised hemispherical portion in the center of said star formation and rows of beads outside of said star formation, each row being at an angle to the rows adjoining it.
A designates a glass tile having the raised nipples or hemispherical portions 1; 1) arranged in the form of a star.
B designates the frame, and C the design, including the star formation, the central nipple or hemispherical portion, and the outer heads 0 c.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a skylight-tile, substair tially as shown and described.
