SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,173, dated February 18, 1896.

Be it known. that I, FRED 13. Jones, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city of Chicago, in the county of (look and State of Illinois, have invented and produced anew and original Design for Name-Plates for Vehicles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
This invention is intended as a name-plate for that class of light-wheeled vehicles known as bicycles, trieyeles, quai'lrieyeles, &e.
Figure l is a perspective VlOW of the nameplate constituting my design, and Fig. 2 a transverse section, these views being deemed suflicient to fully illustrate my design.
A is the nsine-plate which is curved, as shown, the main portion of its edge or perinr eter being plain, while the upper and lower parts slightly project, as illustrated. Coneentrieally arranged with the greater part of the outer edge or perimeter is an opening 13,
within which is a figure formed by two hars, united above and separated below, each extending from the top of the said opening downwardly and outwardly to an opposite side of the same, the bars thus forming an angular spaee between them, and which is crossed by a substantially eentrally-arranged bar, as clearly seen in Fig. 1 of the drawings.
The eurvature of the name-plate is such that as Viewed in the cross-section, Fig. taken in a horizontal plane centrally of the device, it represents a semicircle.
