DESIGN FOR A CAR-BODY.
QPECIFICATIQN forming part Of Design NO. 23,206, dated April 17, 1894.
Application filed February 28, 1894. Serial No. 501,873. Term of patent 14 years.
is all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, J OHN COMMERFORD, a citizen of the United States, residing at Columbus, in the county of Franklin and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Car-Bodies; andl do hereby declare the following to be afull, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the accompanying drawing, I illustrate a perspective view of the car body made according to my design.
The design consists of a car body having the vertical walls A with their upper parts outwardly inclined as shown at B, and the standards 0 on the sides of the car fitting under said outwardly inclined parts B and extending downward therefrom toward the bottom of the car body. The outer edges or surfaces of the standards 0 are flush or in a plane co-inoident with the edges of the outwardly inclined parts B.
What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a car body substantially as herein shown and described.
