DESIGN FOR A SPOON.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design NO. 24,6 59, dated September 10, 1895.
Application filed December 24,1894. Serial No. 532,887. Term of patent 7 years.
To (l ZZ whom it may concern.-
lie it known that I, Conn A. Goomne, a citizen of the United States, residing at the town of Brookline, in the county of Norfolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Spoon, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The leadingfeatures of my design foraspoon are, first, the handle at its outer end, which represents a persons head-for instance, a player of foot-hall-and a sweater, consisting of the collar, shoulder, and breast portions, and, second, thebowl in the outline or form of a foot-ball, and has the line of the seam and lacing of a foot-ball indicated on it and along its length, the same being provided with a handle having the configuration shown and described.
The figure of the drawing is a face View of a spoon embodying my design.
In the drawing, A is the bowl, and B is the handle of the spoon. The bowl A is in the outline or form of a foot-ball, and along its length is a representation, as at a, of the seam and, as at b, of the lacing of afoot-ball. At the outer end of the handle Bis the configuration of the head 0 of a person-for instance, a player of football-and of the collar D, shoulders E, and breast F of a sweater.
